This is a historic event as it marks the 40th council meeting of FIMA, the umbrella organization of Islamic Medical Associations (IMAs) around the world. As the President of Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia (IMAM) and the chairman of the organizing committee, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all the international delegates, speakers, sponsors, partners, staff and volunteers a who have made this event possible. Your presence and participation are valuable to the success of this conference. The theme of this year’s conference is Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in the Muslim World”.
